There are 48 victims of fatal shootings and 153 victims of non-fatal shootings. Responding to the decrease in the number of shootings, Rev. Eugene Rivers declares, “[Boston is becoming] a boutique town. . . . Crime will decline because numbers of the poor will decline.”
